Hey everyone, I'm Cat and I'm a second year dental student. I would like to run for next years’ charity rep as I feel that my interest in global health, coupled with my active charity volunteering in the community would make me a suitable candidate for this role. I frequently volunteer with Care4Calais as well as being an active member of the university's society ‘Homed’ which focuses on helping the homeless and have found both of these roles very enriching. If elected, I intend to implement and transfer these strategies into gIobal health settings. I have loved attending this year’s events with the SFGH society and feel that I have learnt so much through these experiences. I would love to have the opportunity to further tie together these 2 interests of mine and make an impact, I would love to be a part of the society’s growth next year :)
