Beginner's Women's Captain

I’m Nancy and I’m running for the role of Beginners and Development Sec along with Holly H of courrrrse 👯‍♀️!! I’m in first year, and have been playing in the 2nds team this year which has been so much fun - so I would love the opportunity to hopefully encourage more people to give lax at Leeds a go!! So, why should you vote for me?!… 🥍 I’m approachable and friendly 😎 🥍 I used to help teach lax at school so have lots of ideas on how to run fun training sessions and teach the basics of lacrosse 🤓🤓 🥍 I want training sessions to be as fun as possible, something super sociable to break up uni work with!! 🥍 I’d love to organise some beginners/developmental matches next year and of course will be there to cheer everyone on from the side line!! 🏆 🥍 And of course I’ll be getting everyone involved on a Wednesday night 🤪🤪 Lots of lax love (and cringe), Nancy xoxoxo💚💚

Heyyyy everyone, this year I will be running for Beginners and Development Sec, alongside my good pal Nancy C :))) 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️ I am currently a first year and have been playing for the 1s this year which has been super fun (despite the not so fun score boards), but hopefully we can redeem ourselves next year 🥇🥇 This year has been a blast, which is why I am super keen to get more Leeds girls picking up a lax stick and getting involved! 🥍🥍🥍 What can I bring to the table?… 🥍 I am committed, welcoming and a friendly face to talk to 🥍 I have lots of experience both playing and coaching lax to lots of different levels so have the ability to teach the basics and new skills to all newbies! 👍🏼👍🏼 🥍 I will be super organised and plan fun and exciting new sessions every week for those who just fancy getting moving and chucking a ball around or those who are interesting in really developing into a team player 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️ 🥍 It would be great to get some fun B&D matches organised too 🤪🤪 🥍 And finally, will be hopefully getting everyone involved in the Wednesday night antics and growing our lax community 💚💚 Thank you for listening, lots of lax love Holly H
