Hey lax queens

It’s Lara Hugh (take 2) and Sophie with your light Sunday evening read… This year we’re running for joint 1s captains.

We’ve loved playing on the 1s this year (especially after the 10/10 covid year) and hope to carry on bringing the #goodvibes which Minna has set the bar high with! 🤍

We’ve loved running beginners and development on a Thursday (although not feeling so fresh) creating a small army of Poppy Moores 👩‍👩‍👧‍👧 and feel like we work well together and yet to have our first domestic.

Its been so nice to see more people get involved with the club, something we hope to carry on next year as well as integration between the teams. We’ve had good practice running sessions together and have some great ideas for training for next year and the journey back to prem!

Wednesday nights are always something to look forward which we intend to carry on hacking next year, as well plenty of pasta nights and team bonding (Soph promises to learn how to play heads up 🤦‍♀️)

We’re both v organised, and will make sure lax comes before any degree #kennykeenos and aim to get the balance between a competitive and fun year of training.

Finally, we promise to do a better job at being your captains than we are at chopping a post match pint (55 seconds and counting…)
