ROLE OUTLINE:

Organising socials: as many as you think is suitable! A mix of drinking and non-drinking. It is difficult to find times that everyone is free/not stressing with deadlines so polls and communication are necessary. Feel free to do as many or as little - make the members happy!! And feel included, exclusion is a big no no…

Weekend away: Main big social is the weekend away which in my opinion, the earlier in semester 1 the better! Have to find a weekend where (if possible) everyone is available. Pick a location and accommodation - organise travel to and from. Budget! Work with treasurer to ensure that you can subsidise members and decide on a price. Complete the risk assessment forms and send to the union.

As with other committee members:

- attending weekly committee meetings

- be prepared to have extra committee meetings 

- be prepared to take on other tasks shared out between committee members

This is a really fun role, and is less intense than the other roles but you must be a good communicator (with committee members and society members), sociable and organised nonetheless!
