Hi everyone! I’m Yağmur, a Medical Engineering student going into my 3rd year after my placement year, and I’m running to be re-elected as Secretary for MedTech Society 😊

Over the past year, I’ve really enjoyed being part of the team supporting the society and helping with things like event organisation, communications, bookings, and collaborations. It’s been amazing seeing the society grow,and I’d love the chance to continue contributing next year as well.

One of my main goals is to help get more people involved and make the society more active and well-known across campus. I want us to run a wider range of inclusive events where everyone feels welcome, whether that’s socials, industry talks, workshops, or collaborative events with other societies.

I’d also love to help expand our industry exposure opportunities and introduce more volunteering and outreach activities, including projects like Students into Schools, so we can make a positive impact beyond university too.
