The Postgraduate Officer at WILS play an important role in supporting WILS members who are PHD and masters students on campus. There are a few main responsibilities that come with the role of the Postgraduate Officer, including: 

Targeting female PHD and masters students on campus 

Engaging and growing WILS membership numbers in those who are studying PHD and masters degree

Creating events that are suitable for PHD and masters students 

Liasing their concerns about postgraduate careers across industries 

Ensuring that WILS events can be better aligned with postgraduate schedule in general 

Working closely with the various event directors in creating careers based events 

Please note due to the workload we recommend master students to apply instead of PhD students.
