Hey, I'm Sam. I aim to provide: - An LGBTQIA+ inclusive society. - Safe spaces for neurodivergent people including a sensory-friendly atmosphere. - Provide a non-judgemental and relaxing environment, - Increase support and awareness and provide resources for BPD, BP, CPTSD, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, Depression, and Anxiety. - Ensure support systems are in place for those struggling with mental health issues. For example, this could entail researching therapists around Leeds (both private and public) and providing information on affordability, specialisation, and reviews to ensure you obtain the right support. - Support members by tailoring the society to suit their needs, including taking on feedback and increasing availability and accessibility to the society. - Increase society socials. I'm currently in my first year at uni studying History. I'm a big fan of hiking, progressive music, metal, jazz, classic rock, and indie music, and I play guitar and bass. I also have ADHD and CPTSD (fun). I'm aiming to train to become a therapist or psychiatrist after I graduate. I value mental health and I aim to provide a helpful and supportive service for those struggling with any issues.
