Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m running for Homed Secretary. As an avid member of Homed Society, I understand the dedication and passion it takes to be a part of such a hard-working team. Due to my experience of producer and assistant director on several other society projects, such as Theatre Group and LSTV, I am adept at passing communications between different societies and groups, planning events and supporting other members of my team. If I am elected, I would want to push for more collaborations and fundraisers between societies as well as more opportunities for food donations and collections, as I’m aware that members of the society would like to have more opportunities to help out. Additionally, I would also like to work with the rest of the committee to make more media (posters, leaflets, etc.) to bring awareness to campus around homeless people, dispelling prejudice myths and offering advice on how to help.
