Roles

Share the same vision as the president and work closely with the president to establish clear aims and objectives for the year.
Is the overall quality control manager, ensuring that all committee members carry out their duties in a way that meets the standards of the society, as captured by the joint vision set by herself/himself and the president. This entails, setting deadlines and following up on members to ensure they meet them, assessing the quality of the work carried out by members in preparation for society activities and etc.
Establishes key performance Indicators to appraise the functioning of the society
Compiles society performance reviews, assessing areas of overall strength and weakness within the society as well as individual criticisms.
Carries out all of the president’s roles when the president is incapacitated/absent.
