The main roles of the vice president are to support the president to guide and support the committee members, and help maintain direction and vision of HIT. The vice president will be required to act on behalf of the president if the president is unable to represent the society at certain events or carry out certain duties. Thus, you will maintain strong communication with the president. As a core committee member, you will also look after the welfare of all committee members.

Excellent time-management abilities, teamwork and communication skills with other members of the team and external individuals are essential for this role. You must be flexible and approachable.
