The social secretary should work with the general secretary to organise and publicise events, this is because the secretary is in charge of the social media accounts used for promotion and has experience with filling out the necessary forms. They should be on the look out for conventions, discos/clubs, and other activities that our members might enjoy. They should also speak directly with our members to understand what kind of events they want and hopefully find some good ideas we have not tried before. For any events that require expenses, the social secretary should speak with the treasurer to agree a budget and get advice on how to ticket the event.
