The vice president performs the same role as the president but does not need to be as externally visible. They should aim to familiarise themselves with the members of the other committees and on the small nuances needed to keep a society running smoothly. For important events, the vice president should act as president if the president is unable to attend, this means networking and doing any of the formalities.
