Whats up skate soc! 😎

I’m excited to run for the role of Social Media Manager for the Leeds University Skate Society. With a passion for skateboarding and a creative flair (as well as a background in art and graphic design 😳😳😳), I believe I can bring fresh energy to our online presence while fostering a strong sense of community amongst our new and old members.

Here’s what I aim to do as your Social Media Manager:

Engaging Content – I’ll create fun, engaging, and regular content that showcases our events, achievements, and the vibrant personalities of our members. From skate sessions to socials, I want everyone to feel included and represented.
Interactive Posts – I’ll encourage member participation through polls and challenges, creating an interactive and exciting platform where everyone’s voice is heard.
A Skate Mascot – To add a fun and unique touch to our socials, I’ll introduce a little skate mascot! This character will not only serve as a symbol of our society but will also be used in posts, promotions, and merchandise, making our brand instantly recognisable and lovable. Don’t worry, they will be wearing a helmet. 🪖😎
Highlighting Our Skaters – Our members are the heart of the society, and I want to showcase YOU. Whether it's highlighting your skateboarding progress or celebrating personal milestones, I’ll ensure that everyone feels valued and celebrated.
