Hi everyone!😊 I’m Yağmur, a 2nd year Medical Engineering student going into my 3rd year, and I’m excited to be running for Secretary again. I’ve had a great time being part of the team that helped get the MedTech Society started this year, and I would love the chance to continue supporting it in the year ahead.

As Secretary, I’ve worked on location bookings for the events, coordinating with different departments, handling external/internal communications, and making sure all our society’s documents are in order. I’ve also been involved in other societies at the university, and as a member of the IMechE Young Members Chapter, I’ve learned how to collaborate with different groups. I hope to use this experience to create more opportunities for the MedTech Society to collaborate with other organizations and expand our network.

Next year, I want to focus on expanding the society and getting more people involved. I want the MedTech Society to be a place where members can connect, find support, and meet others who are on a similar path. Most importantly, I want us to feel like we’re all in this together!

I’m excited about what we can achieve in the coming year and would love to keep contributing to MedTech Society! 🙌
