Hey cricketers 🥰🥰🩷!!!

Apologies for the late nomination, but better late than never😜

The only thing I love more than a Wednesday night social is 4 nights of socials in the sun🌞!! From drinking sangrias all day to dressing up and partying all night we really did complete littydemar in the best way possible. Not sure about anyone else but I’m really missing the dogems and corridor pres right now as well as XXL sex on the beach’s at queen vics🥲Currently having tour withdrawals #takemeback

One of my favourite things about tour is how it creates meaningful bonds that you can’t create elsewhere. You instantly become close to people who you haven’t even spoke to on the society before. Joining this year as a fresher but technically in second year I felt slightly lost but decided to sign up for tour with a group of girls who I’d only just met but now would call my best friends🥰🥰🥰Tour creates an opportunity to get to know other people on a deeper level and gives you an opportunity to mix with everyone.
I made some new amazing friends, special memories and would love everyone to experience this feeling by going on tour27!

I would love this role as I love organising events, parties and anything fun! From organising girls holidays to family functions, I feel like I’m very equipped to handle this role. I really loved the events and tour this year and would love everyone to have the opportunity and have the same experience I did. I’d hope to fill Nancy’s shoes for this role and continue the amazing tour legacy. For next year’s tour, I’d love to create a range of drinking games, challenges, and themes to make the experience memorable and even more fun!

I understand this role is about much more than just tour, even if tour is one of the highlights. That’s why, for 26/27, I want to bring more energy into all aspects of the club by getting even more involved throughout the year. Tour isn’t for everyone so I want to make sure there’s always a trip or event that appeals to everyone! Whether it’s Varsity, the ball, the races, or sober socials, I want to be a familiar and welcoming face across every part of the club.

If there’s one thing I love almost as much as cricket, it’s a good social, a well-planned trip, and making sure everyone has the best time possible. I’ve been playing cricket since I was around 4 years old, so being part of a cricket society that’s as social as it is competitive genuinely means a lot to me.

I went on tour this year and created challenges for everyone to complete (with evidence, of course)… and judging by the chaos, laughs and memories made, I think it’s safe to say people enjoyed it 👀

I’ve always loved being involved in organising events. I led the organising team for my Upper Sixth Leaving Ball, coordinating people, budgets and timings to make sure everything ran smoothly. I was also cricket captain, where I organised the girls’ end-of-year event and socials – so I know how to plan things that people actually want to come to, while keeping everyone included.

I’d also love to continue working closely with I Love Tour, the brand we used this year, as I think they did a great job and there’s loads of potential to build even better tours with them going forward. And yes — I definitely want to bring back a boat party, but at a slightly later time hopefully so there is less “sea”sickness, more dancing, and more booze actually staying down 🍾⛵️

Huge thanks to the current committee for all the work they’ve put in this year, and especially to the previous Trips & Events Sec, Nancy, for smashing it and setting the bar so high – I’m excited to build on everything they’ve done and take it even further.

I’ll bring energy, creativity and good vibes to the role, while also being organised and reliable behind the scenes. Expect unforgettable trips, questionable challenges, and memories you’ll still be laughing about long after the season ends.
