A student from 3rd Year onwards, having already spent a year on committee
Organise and supervise all activities of the Society;
Chair Committee meetings and AGMs;
Attend the School of Dentistry quarterly Staff:Student Forum meetings;
Be a counter signatory (optional) for withdrawal/payments from all of the Society’s bank accounts;
Host and organise the School of Dentistry Awards with the Chair of the Student-Staff Forum
Attend the Student Presidents Meeting at the BDA Headquarters in London (expenses paid).
Ensure the Society is running smoothly during events and between committee
Check in with Committee members to ensure everyone is doing well and feels well supported. Provide support where possible.
Be involved in the SALIP projects, Freedom to Speak Up Guardians, EDI (Equality, Diversity, Inclusivity) meetings and other relevant initiaves.
Ensure the AGM and Handover period is held as smoothly as possible.
Maintain relationships with other Dental Societies, Sponsors, LUU and other relations.
