My name is Livia Plester and I’m currently studying LLB Law. Lisa has done an amazing role of Team Captain this year, and I hope to continue this. A captain's job is to make the team the best it can be, which I believe I can do. I genuinely love cricket, I believe this is shown through my dedication of turning up to training every week and making myself available for matches. Additionally, I have recently received by Level 1 cricket coaching course, which taught me the most effective drills and leadership. Moreover, throughout my time playing for Warwickshire county I have learnt drills and skill exercises that are used to train the top athletes. These sessions have been taught by England players and regional coaches, who I have learnt from. I believe my experience can help improve the team massively.

My name is Poppy Sladen and I am studying BSc Pharmacology. I believe that, alongside Liv, I can fulfil the role of team captain as I have loved playing cricket since I was 11 as it has allowed me to meet and play alongside a wide range of people. I have experience in coaching as I have volunteered at my club where I lead sessions for a younger age group. As well as this, I have been on an umpiring and scoring course, so can help with the additional skills required outside of the team to support others. I have also played county cricket, where I have taken part in a wide range of drills that could be transferred to Leeds Cricket training. I believe that Liv and I will work hard with each other and combine our experience to produce useful and fun training sessions as well as leading a team that can keep winning matches.

What we can bring to the team next year:
