This year we have the new addition of TOUR SEC!! This role involves a lot of planning so it is vital to be organised if you are considering yourself for this role. The core purpose of this role is to plan and organise tour, leaving just the evenings free for the social secs to host. You will lean on Exec and Social secs to run ideas passed but it is your responsibility to find accommodation and a strong location. Check that the location has lots of cheap bars, day time activities, and close to a beach/pool etc. You must check there are lots of flights to this location from across the country and how people will get from the airport to the accommodation. It is super important to keep the costs down as this ensures that more people can go, so early planning is essential. 
 

As semester 1 will be a lot less demanding than semester 2, you will also lead on organising Xmas Dinner. You will work alongside the Treasurer (and rest of Exec) to find a venue, order awards, and set pricing. This year you will need to find a new venue to host it and should start this early September as lots of these venues get very busy at the end of term.
