The Secretary of Leeds Think Tank (LTT) plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's administrative functions. Taking minutes and participating in the committee minutes, the Secretary ensures the smooth operation of LTT's day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of LTT's meetings, decisions, and activities. Write meeting minutes and other documentation to capture discussions, such as action items and follow-up tasks.

Membership Coordination: Assist in managing LTT's membership database, including registration, renewals, and member communications.

Documentation Management: Organise and maintain LTT's digital documents on Google Drive, files structuring resources in an accessible manner. Ensure documents are available for reference as needed.

External Relations: Assist in cultivating and maintaining relationships with external partners, sponsors, and collaborators. Coordinate communications, meetings, and follow-up activities to support partnership development and engagement.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the committee as needed, helping facilitate board meetings, workshops, and other group activities.

Compliance and Governance: Ensure LTT's compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and guidelines set forth by Leeds University Union. Support the implementation of governance processes and procedures to uphold accountability and transparency.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining administrative processes, enhancing communication effectiveness, and improving overall organisational efficiency. Provide feedback and recommendations for optimising LTT's operations and governance structure.
