Hello everyone! My name is Linley, I'm currently a fourth year medical student and am running for the Secretary position for SFGH.

During my academic journey, I had the privilege of volunteering with a medical NGO dedicated to providing accessible and sustainable healthcare to underprivileged communities in Malaysia. My passion for global health stemmed from having witnessed first-hand the myriad of challenges faced by these marginalized groups, particularly with the lack of basic healthcare necessities. Since then, I've also volunteered in various health screening and vaccination programmes during the pandemic which further reinforced my commitment in getting involved with global health initiatives.

I hope to carry this dedication forward within SFGH in working towards raising awareness about the critical issues of health disparities globally. As the Secretary, I aim to maintain precise meeting minutes and up-to-date membership records, serve as a point of contact between members and external stakeholder as well as handle all incoming or outgoing correspondence.
