Hey everyone! I’m Leah and I’ve been a member of PAS for two years now. I’ve been on committee as open seat this year, where I’ve been responsible for organizing our kit and fundraiser. I’d like to take on a more administrative role in the committee next year. I think the role of secretary would play to my strengths because I’m organised and always pay attention to detail. This past year on committee has helped me understand how PAS is run and given me lots of ideas for next year. For example, I want to focus more on welcoming less experienced performers to PAS. I think we should run some classes that focus on basic singing, dancing and acting techniques in the first semester. This should help members feel more prepared for the showcase and be more confident to go for solos! I think it’d be great to organise more collaborations with other societies too. I’d love to be able to continue to make PAS the welcoming and fun environment it has always been as your secretary next year! Thank you!
