Hey everyone! I'm An Chen, upcoming third year medical student.
I am interested in women's health and femtech and I hope to bring more interesting events and speakers on innovations in obs & gyn! I also would love to extend collaborations with other societies so that more students can learn about this specialty.
Having been on committee as pre-clinical rep this year, I've enjoyed helping with the society and getting to know our team. My experiences in High School as Discipline Committee Representative and MUN Club President have also equipped me with the skills needed to be an efficient and organized note-taker. Other than carrying out tasks, I believe in the importance of listening to each other's opinions and feedback from members so that we can improve going forward.

Hi everyone! My name is Hemisha, and I am currently a third-year medical student. I have loved being a part of LOGSOC for the past 2 years, firstly as the pre-clinical representative and currently as the Vice-President. Over these 2 years I have learnt so much about women’s health and have discovered my passion towards Obstetrics and Gynaecology which I why I would like to continue to be a part of the executive committee.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my position this year as Vice-President and would really appreciate the opportunity to be able to explore a different key role within the committee. I will be able to transfer several skills that I have developed this year as the upcoming Secretary, such as liaising with the University and LUU for room bookings and making sure that everything is organised within the society.

I believe that I am hard-working, reliable and can work well within a team, which are key qualities of a Secretary. My commitment towards the society demonstrates that I have the skills and passion necessary to be successful as Secretary. I have really enjoyed being involved in the fantastic events LOGSOC has organised this year and believe that I can bring forward many new ideas to further contribute to the development of the society.
