As we lost our previous Trip Sec Nik to his placement year, we need a new Trip Secretary!

The job involves both admin duties and managing groups of people of all abilities, so being organised, decisive and inclusive is a must. As Trip Sec you’ll be expected to attend every trip and bring loads of energy to help organise the days along with our other Trip Sec, Sam. Teaching is a vital part of being on committee both on Wednesdays at Big Depot but also on weekend trips - however we try to ensure the committee's time is split 50/50 between teaching and climbing on trips!

While our weekend trips are mostly organised by now, we’re looking to have more club day trips this year to local crags to up the skill level in the club. The trip sec would also help with planning a potential international meet - so a lot to look forward to.

Overall, Trip sec is a great and varied role - if you think you would be good at the job, put your name forward! More details about the position and how to run are below, but any more questions message us on Instagram or WhatsApp :)
