The Welfare Officer is responsible for supporting the wellbeing of all members. They provide a first point of contact for anyone facing personal difficulties and signpost members to appropriate support services when needed. They promote a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment in all society activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Equality and Inclusion Officer to signpost members to LUU Support services, should concerns or issues arise
- Support members with any questions or worries
- Work closely with the Equality and Inclusion Officer to to make sure events are as accessible as possible
