Hi, I’m Sneha, and I’m a first-year BSc Economics and Finance student. I’m excited to be running for the position of President for the 2023/24 Committee. My previous experience organizing self-led donation drives has provided me with valuable skills and a compassionate approach that I believe make me an excellent candidate for this role.
As the incoming treasurer for the Homed society, i’m confident that I can help facilitate better collaboration with our partner charities. I’ve also worked closely with a women’s NGO here in Leeds. If elected, I’ll be responsible for chairing committee meetings, AGMs, and EGMs, ensuring that an annual report is produced, and keeping our society’s LUU Engage page up to date. I’ll also be managing RAG’s social media pages.
If I’m chosen as President, I’ll work hard to build strong relationships with our partner charities and organize successful fundraising events. I’m passionate about making a positive impact in our community, and I’m confident that my communication skills and dedication will allow me to serve effectively in this position.
