Hiya! I'm Evelyn and I am asking you to vote for me for Esports Coordinator! I thoroughly believe I am best suited to fulfilling this role. I am already the ambassador for two different games concurrently (Valorant & Marvel Rivals), proving I can fill any unfilled ambassador roles. I am also experienced in organising esports specific events, such as helping with varsity by doing Play-By-Play casting. I also pitched and organised the Fresh Start Valorant tournament in 2026. If you vote for me, I hope to create more opportunities for tournaments and events next year that allows people to let loose their competitive spirit!

Hi everyone! I'm Matthew, also known as Supervideoguy, I'm a 3rd year Theoretical Physics student, and this year I'm continuing my climb through the ranks of the society by running for eSports Co-ordinator! I've been in the society since my first year way back in 2023 and for the last two years I've been your Overwatch ambassador, a role I've taken much pride in and put as much of my time as I can into. I'd like to think I've played a part in taking OW from one of our least popular games, with only one NSE team in 2024, to now by far our most popular, with FIVE teams playing in NSE this semester.

As much as I love Overwatch, I am no stranger to competitive gaming in general, as I've also put considerable hours into Marvel Rivals, Rainbow 6 Siege and Apex, and have at least a little experience with every major game currently offered by the society... except League (#HardstuckOnConsole). My general gaming taste is nothing if not diversified, as you can often find me playing anything from survival games like Grounded and ARK, to puzzle games like Portal, to GTA, to Dead by Daylight, to... well anything really! I am a HUGE completionist, so if a game has achievements or fun little unlockables, count me in!

It's largely due to this range of gaming experience that I think I'd be a great fit for the role of eSports Co-ordinator. Due to the nature of my degree and my schedule, I am an organised and logic-oriented person, and excel at managing multiple tasks, like keeping track of our many teams and reporting on their performance!

I've seen how a micro-community can grow within our society and I am eager to try and foster the same within our other games, through doubling down on last year's goal of having your teammates become your mates. Saturday socials will be for our teams to meet up IRL and practice together, and I'm also determined to increase the frequency of showmatches between our teams, making sure these are fully casted and streamed somewhere where the rest of the society can watch together and cheer along your friends!!

I also want to use our social media channels to show off our teams and their achievements, celebrating our rankings in tournaments and interviewing our players more regularly, especially with a view to Varsity.
