Hey Guys! My name is Macc and I started Spikeball about last year roundnet and have completely fallen head over heels not just for the sport but also for the society itself. I personally feel that the society has a great blend of social and serious sports aspects to it. As your future social sec I aim to maintain some of the great socials this year such as the Fridge to Fridge, Scavenger hunt, and the classics like the Otley Run and also the Spikeball ball. I would also like to add more socials with more afters going to Rita’s more often making a full night out of it. I would also have high hopes for future socials as I would like to add more socials like a crate escape where everyone is trapped in a hosted house and you have to drink a certain amount of drinks to be able to escape whilst doing challenges in the house. To add on to inclusivity, we’d have more sober socials, like a chill coffee session and a painting night or even a pottery night, where people can just come together, have some chats and not be absolutely smashed. I also hope to make the society more engaging and memorable to everyone. I believe that I’m a good fit for this role as I feel that I am a welcoming person or so I hope and I love talking to people and providing a strong, supportive, and safe environment where people can enjoy themselves. I will take on Ellie's role with great pride, ensuring a high standard of socialising. My qualifications include being able to chop a bottle of wine in one go and a special affinity for going out.
