Hi, my name is Erin and I’ve been in my first year of uni this year! I am applying to be the treasurer of Physoc for the 25/26 academic year.
My key aim in this role is to keep things affordable and accessible for our members. This will take good organisation and communication within the society.
Throughout this year, I have kept organised in budgeting and planning. I will keep committee members in the loop of plans and future expenses that may arise.

I will keep in good conversation with the media sec - ensuring that they are posting on all different platforms to increase the society’s popularity. This is so that more people are exposed to our society and know that we are a welcoming fun club, so they are more likely to join.
This would aid our finances so that we can put money towards improving the society. For example, decreasing membership costs or decreasing costs for tickets to socials like the ball - so that more people will come!
Another idea I have for decreasing society expenses is joint socials with other small societies, once again, saving money if we need to pay for venues, but also it would be beneficial to make new connections.
