The President of FemSoc is an exciting leadership role that offers the opportunity to shape the direction of the society and drive its vision for the year ahead. This role requires someone who can lead and motivate a team, confidently represent the society, and feel comfortable with public speaking.

As President, you will act as the face of FemSoc, taking on significant responsibility while working closely with a supportive committee. You will be responsible for organising and overseeing the overall running of the society, ensuring that all events and initiatives align with its values and goals.

The President is also responsible for chairing Committee Meetings, AGMs, and EGMs, guiding discussions and supporting effective decision-making. In addition, the role includes ensuring the production of an annual report, maintaining an up-to-date entry on the society’s LUU webpage, and making sure that the Code of Conduct and all relevant risk assessments are clearly communicated to members.

Ideally, the President will have attended a range of FemSoc events and have a strong understanding of the society’s values and community.
