Search Engage

This role involves creating posters for Cutting Edge events and then posting them online to the Facebook and instagram pages as well as year group chats. You will be required to post regularly with event updates to engage as many students as possible. You will also be emailing the medical school mailing list, to send out content from the society. You will also be required to update the Cutting Edge Leeds website and ensure that it is a useful for our society members to engage with us. A good understanding of social media and student engagement would push you over the edge. You will also be required to help the committee with the organisation and execution of big events such as conferences. Creativity, the ability to take direction and respond to feedback is essential. This can be a brilliant role to initially get involved in the society and exploring surgery as a career choice.
