Hey everyone, I’m Isabella Yaghnam and i’m running for social media! I’m currently a first year International Relations student who’s been part of Polissoc since joining Leeds. I have been to many socials during this time including the secret social and the fridge2fridge which has allowed me to meet many other amazing members.

If I were to be chosen as social media sec, i would ensure an up-to-date, well organised instagram account at all times that showcases a range of political content from educational material to information about the socials. Additionally, I’ll provide fast communication to members or people wanting to join the society to assure that everyone is well informed of any enquires they might have. (I also love a cheeky TikTok so expect lots of those)

Overall, I want to make Polissoc a society where all members/soon-to-be members feel welcome and informed.

Hi, I'm Lucy! I've been a member of POLISSOC since my first week of university and have enjoyed every single second. I'm running for the social media position as I would love to use channels such as Instagram and TikTok to attract new members into our society and expand the community. I want to create a social media presence that is informative, welcoming and supportive, and reflects the incredible people within the society. In particular, I'll be looking to emphasise wellbeing and mental health at university as these are important issues that are close to my heart. I hope you'll consider voting for me!
