The treasurer is in charge of the society accounts and is a core committee member. Only active members of the University of Leeds can nominate for this role.

The treasurer's responsibilities are as follows:

- Create an initial budget based on the funding amount, allocating subsidy for each planned activity.

- Maintain a live budget forecast to manage the accounts through the year.

- Oversee refunds and payments from the accounts through the union page.

- Keep up to date with Engage's banking app to manage society accounts.

- Keep up to date with union grants available to general interest societies, to secure funding for long term society equipment.
