Hi! I'm Ruby, a 2nd Year Law Student! I would be very grateful for the opportunity to be the President of the Feminist Society in this upcoming year.

I would love to continue the hard work of the 24/25 committee in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all types of people across campus and further this by expanding our society, and the ways in which it can help students across campus.

I am passionate about promoting feminism and ensuring everyone feels welcome, and I hope this will come across if I am to be the President of FemSoc next year. Alongside this, I am prepared for the practical elements of the role: public speaking, organisation and leadership. Having been on the committee this year, I have seen how the society functions behind the scenes and feel confident in leading this in the next academic year. This past year, I have had the opportunity to organise our annual Period Party, attend a conference with the Mayor of West Yorkshire, and attend several society collaborations - all of which have contributed to my understanding of the FemSoc culture, allowing me to lead a society next year that will follow our values.
