5.6.1 Head of Technology & Training

• Ensuring that members are trained to use technical equipment safely
• Assisting members with any difficulties they may have whilst using technology or equipment owned by the society
• Maintaining the upkeep of equipment and office of the society, ensuring equipment and office is in good working order
• Ensuring the safety of the society’s equipment – making sure it is well secured and not at risk 
• Work with Head of Finance to purchase / acquire new technical equipment, ensuring all equipment purchased is bought for the ‘good of the society’ 
• Work with the Head of Live on the technical aspect of live productions, and with other committee members (eg Head of Commercial) on larger, commercial outside broadcasts
• Assisting members with any difficulties they may have whilst using technology or equipment owned by the society
• Ensuring regular training sessions are carried out in general meetings. Can ask other committee members to assist with carrying out these sessions if department specific knowledge/ tech is required.
