Heyy everyone! My name is Gurleen. I'm currently in 3rd year and I'm running for Social Media Rep.
I have experience in managing social media pages through my roles as Social Media Manager and Social Secretary in Psyched and Vibes. I can confidently use Canva as a tool to make pretty and engaging posts.
I'm friendly and will respond promptly to any queries posted to the social media. My roles in other societies have given me the skills to work well within a team and understand the different aspects that go into being a part of a committee.
Within the role, I'd love to work with the different societies in promoting the amazing events and activities that take place throughout the year. I'd also be excited to use the MSRC page as a platform to raise awareness about important issues in the med school and wider communities and I plan to work closely with the EDI reps to bring these into the limelight.
