Hi everyone!

My Name is Abishek, and I am second year medical student.
Sports is passion that I strive to partake in alongside respecting my academic commitments.

Last year, I was the Social Secretary for Leeds Telugu Society, whereby I was heavily involved in its day-to-day activities, along with liaising between the members and committee to ensure we delivered the best events for our community. I was pro-active in communicating with vendors and delivering bespoke posters for each for our events, while also balancing with the administrative aspect of the society, ensuring we strived for professionalism and organisation.

I believe these transferable skills I have honed and acquired as a member of the Telugu Soc committee; while also incorporating my love for sports and physical activities, will ensure that the sports side of MSRC will be able to flourish under my careful and due-diligent custodianship.

Additionally, I am a member of the Leeds Medics and Dentists Cricket, along with some regular attendances to the Leeds Medics and Dentists Badminton, showing that I have preliminary knowledge on how these societies are handled, and working closer with them and the other respective Medic sports societies, would only mutually benefit all stakeholders involved.
