Hi, I’m Olivia and I’m a current 3rd year who will be intercalating next year.

As co-president of BSL Society, I have lots of experience in organising and running successful events. I have also been co-secretary of Psyched this year, which has involved networking with different medical professionals and addressing the admin side of event co-ordination. These skills will set me up well for this role, enabling me to plan, organise and run career related events for medical students. This is an important task, especially as medical students are often expected to know their career path fairly early and are rarely given adequate information to learn about their options. I also have contacts with the Uni of Leeds Careers Service, which will help me run useful events for students with support from people who do this regularly for the university. In my various committee roles I have shown dedication and commitment, which I plan on bringing to MSRC. :)
