This role involves co-ordinating the MUM’s scheme (Medic Undergraduate Mentoring Scheme). For this you will need to match the freshers into families at the start of the year, and organise MUMs events throughout the year, including both drinking and non-drinking events. You will also be the first point of contact for students if there are any issues or queries about the MUMS scheme.
Please note this role involves some work in early September, including family matching and planning the first event.
Although this role is often filled by second years, it is not limited to second year students.
