Hi I am Feng,

I am currently a second year medical student and I think I would be suitable for the role because I am organised and good at communicating. As sustainability officer, I would like to bring more attention to sustainability to our curriculum and within the medical school. The introduction to planetary health as part of the year 2 I&P module is a great start and I think this information could also be integrated into other modules on the course to reinforce the importance.

Although I have not been on a committee before, I am eager to learn! I have previous experience of being on school council where I was part of the environment division. I helped to introduce paper waste bins into classrooms. This involved me liaising with teachers and speaking in assemblies to raise awareness. I learnt skills such as public speaking and researching which I can bring to this role.
