hi, my name is heather dawson.
i am a first year in International Development
and i would love to be a sandwich run coordinator.
some of my interests are listening to music, reading and going to concerts when i can.
i have participated in various charity work before by raising money, for example raising money for Little Princess Trust and donating my hair. However I would love to get more involved with helping people, in a way that has real impacts.
I would be suited for this role because I am compassionate and non-judgmental.
I have also really enjoyed the sandwich runs I have previously done so I know I will be fully committed to the role.
I also am really, really good at making sandwiches.

Hello everyone,
My name is Nicole and I would like to nominate myself to be a sandwich run coordinator. I am a Business Management student currently on a sandwich year in industry. I work in human resources on an internship, this has helped developed great communication, empathy and people skills that I know I could bring to this role as a sandwich run coordinator. Having previously volunteered with Homed on sandwich runs and donations such as the Christmas present hampers, I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this society and would like the opportunity to take this even further. If elected as a sandwich run coordinator I would ensure the weekly sandwich runs are properly organised with compassion for the community. I would also love the chance to work with the whole HOMED committee for the academic year, raising more awareness for this society and all the commendable work delivered.

Having participated in the Sandwich Run several times this year, I have seen the importance of this society and what Homed can do to help the homeless in Leeds. Being Sandwich Run Coordinator I will strive to continue running the sandwich runs and actively engage with the society to encourage more people to sign up and be a part of making a change for our community.
