Greetings fellow delegates,
I'm excited to announce my candidacy for Treasurer of the Leeds Model UN Society!
The Treasurer plays a vital role, ensuring our society thrives financially. This requires strong organization, communication, and teamwork – both within our committee and with external partners like the LUU and Model UN conferences. I possess the skills and dedication to excel in these areas.
Building on Past Success:
In previous semesters, we had fantastic socials like the Pizza Party and Ten Pin Bowling, and some delegates even competed in the prestigious LIMUN conference. As Treasurer, I want to build on this success.
My Vision for Growth:
• Enhanced Communication: I'll work closely with the LUU to secure funding for more social events and delegate development opportunities.
• Membership Growth: A review of our membership structure will identify ways to attract new members, increasing our financial resources.
• Conference Participation: With these additional funds, we can send more delegates to prestigious conferences like LIMUN.
