I am applying for the position of Publicity and Social Media Secretary for the Dr. Ambedkar Society. With several years of experience as a photographer and videographer having served as the President of the Photo and Film Club during my bachelor’s for two years, I bring strong visual storytelling, leadership, and media management skills.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s life and contributions deeply inspire me, especially his perseverance and dedication to equality despite the challenges he faced. It would be an honour to support the society in spreading his ideas and values through impactful digital outreach and creative publicity work. I am committed to using my skills to amplify the society’s initiatives and help build a more aware and inclusive campus community.

Heyllo! I am Sweatha Stalin, and I am nominating myself for the role of Publicity and Social Media Secretary because I want to help amplify the mission and voice of the Dr. Ambedkar Society with creativity, consistency, and purpose.

A little brief about me; I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Embryology and assisted reproduction technology. During my undergraduate studies, I led several clubs, most notably as part of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, where I served as my department’s representative. In this role, I worked as a leader, social media organizer, and also handled various other roles effectively. Being part of a large social club and as well coming from a healthcare background taught me to manage busy schedules, communicate clearly, coordinate events, represent a community both online and in person, and work closely with diverse groups of people. I believe these experiences align perfectly with the responsibilities of this position.

I believe social media is a powerful platform to make our society more visible, approachable, and engaging. I enjoy designing, artwork, and creating content that connects people, and I hope to use these skills to help the society reach a wider audience and strengthen its presence.

Growing up in South India, Ambedkar’s teachings and values were part of my everyday life, and being able to contribute to this society feels deeply meaningful to me. Since joining, I’ve felt a strong connection to its values, and I would be immensely honored to support its growth.
