This is your chance to lead the Linguistics society!

There are three core roles to fill, and without these the society will be unable to form next year:

• President
• Treasurer
• Secretary

As this society is a relatively small academic society, none of the roles have any large responsibilities. Generally, the committee members will support each other to collectively organise and run social events.

Being on the committee is incredibly rewarding - you will show you can handle the responsibilities involved with running events and keeping the group running year-round, skills appreciated by university staff and employers alike!

But don’t get the wrong idea, there is very low commitment expected for this type of society. Aside from the GIAG, you will only need to run the occasional social event.
