As the current Disability Welfare Officer of LLS, I've worked hard with the rest of the committee to organise society events, and to make sure LLS is accessible for all members. I have been a Labour member for over three years and actively campaigned in Leeds and at home in Birmingham.

With a General Election this year, it's vital that LLS plays our role campaigning for a Labour victory. I am running for Secretary to efficiently organise the society so all our members can campaign. I've got the time management and organisational skills to do this, having previously been leader of a Classics Society and organised publicity for theatre productions.

I will work hard to make LLS an inclusive campaigning force for the GE, and spread the Labour message and values throughout the university community and our city.
