Heya dancers,
I’m excited to run for your next Competition Rep! If we’ve danced together, you already know how much I love being part of Vibes — now I want to help us level up even more.

Here’s what I’d love to bring to the team:

- Establish competition prep timelines early on : This will allow us to schedule rehearsals and practices well in advance, ensuring we're fully prepared. My goal is to bring home the InterComp trophy this year, and as we strengthen the team, I also hope to take Vibes to inter-university competitions!

- Regular Groove Sessions: Groove sessions help us polish common steps, improve technique, and stay in sync—making our routines cleaner and performances stronger.

- More performance opportunities : I really believe we can take Bollywood dance to bigger stages, both outside uni and through inter-university competitions, as we build a stronger competition team with the right planning. (If not the first semester then definitely the second!)

- Celebrate every win—big or small by teaming up with the Social Secs and the Treasurer to organise fun post-event socials.

- Secure regular masterclasses — build on our President’s hard work this year by arranging even more expert-led sessions.

I have organized performances and events - choreographing routines, scheduling and leading rehearsals, and coordinating with students and faculty both as a high-school Cultural Coordinator and in unofficial roles thereafter.

As a seasoned competitor, I know that rigorous, well-structured practice sessions not only build team spirit but also give each dancer the chance to hone their technique and refine their personal style. By harnessing our enthusiasm and hard work with targeted motivation, I believe Vibes can develop a very strong competition team.
