Hi everyone!
I’m Aditi Manoj, a first-year Business Management with Marketing student, and I’m so excited to be putting myself forward for the role of Social Secretary for VIBES committee.

A little about me—I’m from Kerala but grew up in Dubai. I’m a tea enthusiast, love a good nap, and honestly, there’s nothing I enjoy more than people-watching at the park on a lazy Sunday. ;)

Dance has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been training in Bharatanatyam since the age of five, and I still recall the thrill of my very first solo performance in kindergarten. Since then, I’ve performed at festivals like Santhwanam and Surya, attended workshops of renowned artists such as Parshwanath Upadhye and Rama Vaidhyanathan, and completed my arangettam and kacheri back in Kerala. I've also taken theoretical exams to deepen my understanding of the classical art form I love so much. Ive also had the opportunity to do a solo performance at the Harvard Model United Nations in Boston as part of cultural extravaganza.

As Social Secretary, my goal is to make VIBES not just a space for dancing—but a vibrant, inclusive community where friendships and memories are made. I’m especially passionate about organizing more non-drinking socials, like: Random Dance Nights, themed games and movie character dress-up evenings, chill hangouts with music, laughter, and of course—dance!
I believe that VIBES should be more than just choreography and performances; it should be a home away from home, where every member feels seen and celebrated.

I’m also a firm believer in increasing South Indian and classical dance representation within our community. Bharatanatyam, and other classical forms, may be niche—but they are rich in culture and storytelling, and deserve the spotlight. I’d love to introduce choreographies that fuse classical elements with street and hip-hop styles—bringing together tradition and innovation in a way that’s fresh, fun, and stage-ready for LUU competitions and showcases.

VIBES is already something special—but with your support, I hope to make it even better. Let’s build a community that celebrates all dancers, all stories, and all vibes!!

Hi, I’m Hiya, and I’m excited to nominate myself for the role of Publicity and Social Media Secretary for Vibes Dance Society!
Originally from India and currently based in Dubai, I’ve grown up surrounded by creativity, culture, and a love for dance. Joining Vibes has been one of the highlights of my university journey — it’s a space where I’ve felt inspired, confident, and connected. Now, I’d love the opportunity to give back by helping promote everything that makes our society so special.

Dance has always been a big part of my life. I’ve participated in several workshops and competitions, including India’s International Groove Fest, where our team placed 2nd, and the Vibes Intercomp, where we came 3rd and won the Audience Choice Award. These experiences have taught me not only about performance but also about community, collaboration, and the importance of visibility.

As a Fashion Marketing student, I’ve developed a strong eye for design, content creation, and digital storytelling. I love working with visuals, exploring trends, and finding fun, creative ways to connect with people online. I believe I could bring that same passion and energy to the Vibes social media platforms — creating engaging content that’s bold, fresh, and true to our vibe.

If chosen, I’d love to introduce ideas like behind-the-scenes content, dancer spotlights, interactive stories, and fun reels to promote events and showcase our journey as a team. I want our social media to feel exciting and inclusive — not just a place to share updates, but a space where every member feels represented and every follower feels drawn in.
