I will be a good fit for this role as I am a sociable and approachable individual who enjoys looking out for people. I am passionate about maintaining a caring and inclusive atmosphere within our society. I want to ensure that there is no judgement or hostility present, in both training sessions and at socials. I have experience working in youth groups, so I am able to handle more sensitive topics in an unbiased manner (if they occur.) I am dedicated to jiu-jitsu; I frequently attend training sessions, and I am eager to improve. Furthermore, I am committed to being an active part of the society as I attend many social events and maintain contact with other society members in my own social life. I would like to emphasise the importance of everyone’s wellbeing in our society. To do this, I intend to send out anonymous polls regarding how people feel about the general welfare support the society offers, and if anything needs to be changed or introduced.

I’ve been part of the society for nearly 2 years now and I’ve loved every part of it and would love to get more involved (about time) and I think I’d be a great fit for this role 😊
