Hello everyone! I’m Rishi, and I’m running to be your Treasurer next year. I’m the kind of person who actually enjoys organisation, keeping things in order, and making sure everything adds up properly. I know...very exciting. But seriously, I’m reliable, sensible, and I’ll make sure the society’s finances are handled properly so the rest of the committee can focus on making the society as good as it can be.

My goals and plans for the society currently are,

Keep things running smoothly:
I want to make sure the society’s finances are managed properly, with clear records, sensible budgeting, and no mess. A good treasurer should make life easier for the whole committee, and that’s exactly what I’d aim to do.

Make the money work for members:
I’d make sure money is spent on things that actually benefit the society, whether that’s better equipment, more opportunities, or supporting events that members actually want. I want members to feel confident that their money is being put to good use.

Support bigger ideas:
If the committee wants to do more, I’ll make sure the finances are in place to help make it happen. From socials to interuniversity events and tournament support, I would work closely with the team to make sure finances never hold the society back from doing more.

Be open and trustworthy:
I think the treasurer's role depends on trust, and I’d make sure everything is clear and transparent. I would make sure the committee and its members have a clear understanding of where the money is going and how financial decisions are made, and that they feel confident it’s being handled properly.
