For this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all tasks and events related to our society. You will need to motivate and guide your team of volunteers to ensure events run smoothly and successfully.

You will also need to ensure that our events are welcoming and inclusive to all the volunteers. This means that you will need to be able to communicate effectively with volunteers and event organisers.

Many of our events involve collaboration with other organisations outside of the university, which means that you will need to be comfortable reaching out to and working with external partners. This may involve some administrative work, such as coordinating transportation and ensuring that the right number of volunteers and equipment are available.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will need to have strong time management skills to ensure that all tasks and events are completed on schedule. You should also be able to fairly delegate work among other committee members to ensure that everyone has a role to play in making events successful.
