This role represents an opportunity in promoting awareness and understanding of Palestinian culture, history, and ongoing struggles for justice and peace. I have always been passionate about representing my community and expressing myself as a Palestinian. As a fluent Arabic and English speaker, I am able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, helping to bridge the gap between different cultural perspectives. As cultural representative, I will strive to showcase the beauty of Palestinian culture through events, discussions, and educational initiatives, while also raising awareness of the social and political realities faced by Palestinians. My commitment to the cause is not only personal but also driven by a desire to create positive change in The University of Leeds. I believe that by highlighting Palestinian culture, we can foster empathy, challenge misconceptions, and encourage active support for justice and human rights.
